Requirements

• 2 years previous experience working as a medical assistant or clinical research assistant
• Completion of medical assisting program or equivalent education
• Detailed and professional work ethic
• Flexibility and positive attitude

Responsibilities for Clinical Research Assistant

• Recruits and screens potential study participants and assists with intake assessments
• Proficient in aseptic technique, Venipuncture/Phlebotomy and common lab procedures and equipment
• Creates and/or maintains documents and records related to the study
• Experience in a clinical research setting preferred
• GCP, NIH, CITI, IATA training preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team
• Skilled with standard computer programs including the MS Office suite
