Daytona Pediatric Dentistry is Hiring an Orthodontic Dental Assistant Near Daytona Beach, FL

Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during dental procedures and treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Perform patient assessments and record medical documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Skills:
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and treatments
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for orthodontic appliances is a plus
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Ability to take accurate dental X-rays and perform medical imaging procedures

Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator / assistant

Experience Required, bonding, ties, re-ties, EOVs, phase I ortho, phase II ortho, comprehensive ortho

Some non-ortho clinical days will require administrative work duties like making calls, confirming appointments, calling OBS/recare and past consult visits!

Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus!

Must be prompt, friendly and caring

Must be motivated and a team player

Must love to work with children

Must be able to pass a drug and background screening
