DBG Arkansas, LLC is Hiring an Automation Tech - Stamping Near Conway, AR

This person will be responsible for setting up robotic stamping presses with progressive or transfer dies, verifying First Article Inspection and Last Article Inspection to ensure ISO compliant.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in a safe manner through the adherence of company safety policies.
Technical expertise with press set up and tooling, progressive dies, transfer dies, blank dies, etc. Ability to train operators on die and press fundamentals.
Must have working knowledge of micrometer, caliper, tape measure, dial indicator, drill press, grinder, hand tools, and any other shop equipment deemed necessary.
Advanced blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T tolerancing.

QUALITY AWARENESS:

Work in conjunction with DBG’s quality objectives and understand how poor-quality affects DBG, our customers and the end user of our product.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have knowledge of robotics and PLC controllers an asset.

RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS:

Must work well as a Team Member.
Must work closely with Team Leaders, Production Manager and other departments

COMPLEXITY OF TASKS:

Note any significant job characteristics not covered in previous items (i.e. travel requirements,

use of equipment, etc.)

Possess a complete set of tools
Must have good teamwork skills, meet quality requirements, be flexible, and be able to meet and maintain performance standards.
Moderate physical effort will be required consisting of lifting, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of heavy material.
Ability to withstand a minimum of 10 hours on a concrete surface
Lift a maximum of 40 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
