DBG Arkansas, LLC is Hiring a Jr. Program Manager Near Conway, AR
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Jr. Program Manager is responsible for but not limited to managing projects with the support of the Engineering Manager. He / she will also be responsible for programs related to new or existing business within the organization. Providing technical support as required and facilitates the team(s) in meeting customer requirements and due dates. Successful launch of all programs assigned from concept to production and assuring that all critical criteria and expectations are met.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate projects kick off upon receipt of purchase order/authorization and all applicable documentation.
Adhere to all required documentation for project binder.
Ensure that contract review meetings are held with all applicable production team members in the time frame allotted.
Create project timelines and document related action items that are risks to the timing, quality and cost of the project.
Work with production plant Quality Engineers to establish APQP requirements and maintain an active role until successful launch of program.
Co-ordinate design review meetings.
Ensures that all meeting notes and documentation are properly distributed by email and all counter measures and modifications are implemented.
Ensures all quality gates deemed necessary from contract review are implemented into tooling/documentation prior to commencing tooling builds.
Project progress updates and reports as required by Engineering Manager.
Establish project budget.
Project closure with all documentation adhering to ISO/QS 9000/TS16949 procedures along with all required sign off and approved PPAP’s (if applicable)
Attend Program Management group meetings with accurate updates and status of any key project issues.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
Assist sales and estimating team with process questions.
Assist production plants with customer quality requirements and expectations.
Facilitate any customer visits on behalf of the production plants and as required for the purpose of progress reporting.
Assist toolroom/plants with procurement of specialty items or services as required.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Post Secondary Education in engineering degree/certificate or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Previous working experience in project management is preferred.
