Primary Sales Territory: Eastern Seaboard, with additional territories as designated by management
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving trade sales strategies to meet occupancy and room revenue targets for the resort. The successful candidate will engage with travel consortia, attend trade events, host events, conduct webinars, and make sales calls to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
- Serve as the main point of contact for the resort with prestigious consortia
- Attend consortia meetings and events to ensure the property is well-represented
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consortia partners
- Organize and lead road shows, webinars, and events to showcase the property's unique offerings
- Represent the property at industry events and conferences
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure sales and marketing efforts are aligned
- Prepare and provide regular reports on sales activities
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years hospitality sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to develop practical strategies
- Ability to work independently and create a positive environment that responds to change
- Confidentiality agreement required
