KAT Wholesale location in Kansas City, Missouri is in search for a full-time onsite Customer Service Crew Member to join their team!

We're seeking a customer-centric, plant-passionate individual with a talent for inventory management and a passion for delivering top-notch customer experiences. If you're a quick learner with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you!

Hourly Range: $15.00 - $18.00 in lieu of experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Orders: Manages day to day transactions at the point of sale.
• Customer Resource: Demonstrate knowledge of landscape/nursery industry and customer needs.
• Manage Assigned Accounts: Build working relationships with assigned account while seeking ways to improve service.
• Inventory Management:
  • Perform audits for timely and accurate inbound product and enter into inventory software.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through counts, moves and dumps.
  • Communicate all inventory discrepancies and issues to sales, operations, and site manager.

Essential Job Duties:

• Daily processing of invoices and End of Day process
• Set Up New Accounts
• Process Bio-Life 800 Warranty claims
• Manage bank deposits
• Communicate with customers
• Verify and document counts/quality of inbound shipments
• Data entry
• Administer Cycle Counts and investigate reasons for missing product
• Check nursery stock for quality and report information to Site Manager

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote and manage a safe work environment while following direction from the safety committee.
• Participate in bi-annual, brand-wide full inventory counts.
• Uphold and promote DCA’s Core Values.
• Report process and procedure mis-management to Site Manager.
• Communicate with sales on received material, including allocation of pre-sold material.
• Work as part of the sales and operations teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate information in written and verbal format.
• Problem solver.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: Nursery and plant knowledge
• Required: High School graduate or equivalence
• Required: 1-2 years in a customer facing environment
