As a Crew Leader at KAT Wholesale, you'll oversee daily activities, manage inventory, and supervise a team of crew members to ensure seamless site operations. You'll also be responsible for maintaining high-quality workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting a positive and safe work environment.

- LMA: Lead, manage, and hold Crew Members accountable within assigned area.
- Workflow Optimization: Direct and manage daily work activities within assigned areas, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, effective prioritization of tasks, and seamless workflow to meet business objectives.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the integrity, organization, and salability of inventory within assigned areas, ensuring accurate stock levels, product rotation, and visual merchandising standards are consistently met.
- Equipment Maintenance and Operations: Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment within assigned areas to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Facilities Maintenance and Operational Success: Ensure area facilities are properly maintained, well-organized, and visually appealing, promoting a positive customer experience and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Lead, communicate, and execute tasks with crew as identified by the Operations Foreman.
- Execute KAT’s processes for receiving and order fulfillment on a daily basis.
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, fill out inspection logs, and submit the logs to the Operations Foreman. Perform monthly facilities inspections using the inspection form provided by the DCA Safety Committee.
- Promote and manage a safe work environment per policies and training put in place by the safety committee.
- Uphold and promote KAT’s core values.
- Maintain the visual appearance of the assigned area.
- Load and unload product in a manner that is safe for employees and for the product.
- Proficient in the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery, including skid loaders, forklifts, and tractors
- Green industry product knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, communicate with customers, and provide clear instructions to colleagues
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and procedures to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in all aspects of work
- Bilingual in Spanish & English
- Required: 3 years of experience in the green industry with emphasis on planting, caring for and identifying plant material
- Required: 3 years' experience supervising employees in a manual labor environment
- Highly Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish & English
