Experience Required:

• Civil (Roads & Bridges)
• DOT (ex. Amtrak)
• Excavation, Foundations, & Concrete
• Managing multiple trades and numerous craft personnel
• Technically proficient with detailed daily reports
• Experience level that is able to independently superintend the site and fulfill the necessary client support (communications, reports, requirements, etc.)
• Earth work piping, Earth work prep
• Under drain piping
• Deep understanding of slope tolerance.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the field construction of a project including its organization, planning and scheduling in order to complete the work on time and within budget.
• Review all contracts, drawings and specifications and develop on-site plans and procedures for implementation.
• Interface with client representatives, representatives, other contractors, inspectors, etc.
• Conduct safety meetings and responsible for overall site safety.
• Work with operations or project manager to assure work is consistent with estimates, procedures, dimensional control, equipment and manpower; keep them properly updated on progress schedules; and schedule delivery of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate, direct and monitor activities of subcontractors, suppliers and company labor.
• Ensure all necessary permits and other temporary facilities are in place before construction begins.

Requirements

• (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or significant related experience in Construction Management.
• MUST be willing to travel (100%).
