Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role will help lead the development process in accordance with business strategy and objectives.

The Development Director will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development process for data centre projects. This encompasses site selection, due diligence, planning approvals, investment committee paper preparation and presentation, project management oversight, evaluation and appointment of key contractors, tracking of program and budget through to commissioning and handover.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, project management, as well as experience in data centre delivery.

This role is highly collaborative and involves significant interface with internal stakeholders SLT, Project Directors, Commercial, Finance and Investment Teams and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants and other Government Agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Construction management or related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or data centre operations
• Proven experience in managing complex projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management

• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, construction, and operational requirements
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
