Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role will help lead the development process in accordance with business strategy and objectives.
The Development Director will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development process for data centre projects. This encompasses site selection, due diligence, planning approvals, investment committee paper preparation and presentation, project management oversight, evaluation and appointment of key contractors, tracking of program and budget through to commissioning and handover.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, project management, as well as experience in data centre delivery.
This role is highly collaborative and involves significant interface with internal stakeholders SLT, Project Directors, Commercial, Finance and Investment Teams and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants and other Government Agencies.
