DescriptionConveyor Maintenance Tech 2 - Memphis DescriptionMAINTENANCE TECH 2The Maintenance Tech 2 is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues within conveyor systems. Key Responsibilities
Promote a safe working environment by adhering to company & site-specific safety policies and procedures
Complete preventative maintenance routines
Track, store and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment inventory provided by DCI or its client
Engage in the troubleshooting of conveyor systems in collaboration with DCI’s field team, subcontractors, and OEM suppliers as necessary
Disassemble and reassemble conveyor components, so that preventative maintenance, repair and/or replacement of defective sensors, controllers, motors, belts, etc. may be performed
Develop positive relationships with team members, management, subcontractors, and clients
Assist in the training and development of other team members
Support the project with any other task assigned by a supervisor

Associates degree from a vocational school or college with a focus on Mechanical or 3-5 years of experience with conveyor systems and controls
Proficient in the maintenance and repair of automated material handling equipment
Proficient in welding as well as other fabrication skills
Proficient in mechanical blueprint reading
Willingness and ability to lead a team of 1-3 other Maintenance Techs with an assigned task
Maintains a focus on Material Handling Equipment safety in accordance with DCI and OSHA Safety standards
OSHA 10 Certification
