Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Dental Assistant with surgical experience to join their dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting with dental surgeries, providing high-quality patient care, and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including surgical procedures such as extractions, implants, bone grafts, ect.
- Assist with all prosthodontic and fixed restorative procedures, including fabricating temps, impressions, adjustments as needed.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take dental radiographs, digital impressions and intra-oral photos.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage patient flow.
- Provide postoperative instructions and care to patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication as requested.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Dental Assistant.
- Certification in dental radiography.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with a focus on surgical procedures.
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- CPR certification is preferred.
