Our client is a tech-driven market research company specializing in the life science industry. Leveraging cutting-edge analytics and domain-specific enterprise software, they empower clients with key insights across over 100 clinical and therapeutic areas.
The Market Research Project Manager plays a critical role in leading end-to-end research initiatives, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The ideal candidate will create, manage, and monitor detailed project reports and budget plans, while operating as the main point of contact. The Market Research Project Manager must be able to manage competing deadlines, while facilitating cross-functional communication to execute deliverables on time and within budget.
The ideal contractor would be able to dedicate roughly 15 - 30 hours per week for the duration of 2024 (with potential for extension).
This is a contracted, remote position.
Responsibilities include:
1.Serve as the primary contact for project inquiries while managing multiple client deadlines simultaneously.
2.Track project performance using key project scope, timelines, quality, and budget adherence indicators.
3.Proactively monitor and communicate project risks; ensuring appropriate measures are in place to minimize their impact on project timelines and budgets.
4.Regularly update reports, templates, and actively inform key stakeholders about progress and outcomes.
5.Consistently inspect and audit documentation to monitor project quality and identify areas for improvement.
6.Support and assist in the RFP (request for proposal) and bid management process, modifying templates and proposals as necessary.
7.Develop, communicate, and implement strategies and tools to boost project efficiency and elevate performance quality.
8.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including archiving old projects and maintaining documentation.
9.Promote open communication and teamwork among project team members and key stakeholders to ensure set expectations, timely delivery, and adherence to budget.
10.Utilize Agile project management principles to prioritize work and ensure adherence to scope of work.
Desired Skills & Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Analytics, or a related field required; Master's degree or PMP, CAPM, or Six Sigma certification preferred.
•Minimum 5 - 7 years' of Project Management experience in a regulated industry, such as Biotech, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals.
•Experience in qualitative and quantitative research strongly desired.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Planner) and comfortability utilizing various market research tools.
•Ability to communicate with clients professionally, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
•Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•High attention to accuracy and detail with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and confidentiality.
