Job Overview:
Responsible for the operations of the CT department including daily functions, staffing, equipment and supply maintenance, reconciliation of patient records, and training and evaluation of staff. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Maintains a high quality of images produced. Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas.
Education:
Evidence of Radiology Technology training from the United States Military or graduate of an accredited
Experience:
Experience in CT and Angiography required. Five years experience as a staff technologist required. Supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
ARRT certification with CT registry required. Illinois State IEMA certification required within six months of hire. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
