Office Manager Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Office Manager to work four days a week, providing leadership and expertise in managing daily operations. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience in periodontics or oral surgery office management, with a strong preference for Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification and surgical background. Proficiency in dental software, PPO billing, treatment planning, patient enrollment, and financial arrangements is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and optimize the patient scheduling process to achieve practice goals
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and a comfortable, welcoming environment
  • Manage treatment planning discussions and financial arrangements with patients
  • Utilize advanced interpersonal skills to build rapport and provide exceptional patient experiences
  • Oversee office systems and procedures, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate confidence and creativity in problem-solving and process enhancement
  • Conduct presentations and effectively communicate treatment options to patients
  • Foster a positive team environment, leading by example with proactive and energetic leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years' experience in periodontics or oral surgery office management
  • Expertise in dental software (e.g., PracticeWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft), PPO billing, and treatment planning
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain positive patient relationships
  • Strong leadership qualities with a proactive and energetic approach to tasks
  • Ability to think critically and implement innovative solutions
  • RDA certification or equivalent experience highly desired

Working Hours

Tue 8:30am – 4:30pm

Wed 7:30am – 4:30pm

Thu 6:30am – 3:30pm

Fri 6:30am – 3:30pm
