What you’ll do 

As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for many of the communications and online presence of DF. Communications include developing and sending promotional materials and emailers, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with the DF consultants to ensure that client contact is maintained and fostered. You will be responsible for collaborating with our third-party marketing team to develop graphics, marketing videos and other important collateral. To accomplish this, you will be responsible for maintaining the customer relationship management system (CRM), GreenRope. You will also maintain the Decision Frameworks website (SquareSpace) to keep all offerings and website information up to date.

Responsibilities – Key Activities  

• Develop content and implement marketing and communications strategy 
• Manage all social media outreach (develop and post training promotional material)  
• Manage client communication (develop and send promotional emailers)  
• Manage training calendar (schedule and deliver training campaigns) 
• Manage client database 
• Work with customer success representatives to develop targeted automated emailers 
• Import new client contacts 
• Manage email bounce rate and provide report summaries for communication 
• Maintain website 
• Update website as new content is developed 
• Work with accounting to manage website transactions and report to management and consultants 
• Work with third-party marketing team as needed 
• Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s marketing strategy  
• Work with management, consultants and our third-party marketing service provider to develop and implement marketing strategy 
• Brainstorm mechanisms to grow client database (new clients, university partnerships, etc.) 
• Research events the company can participate in (conferences, sponsorship opportunities, etc.) 
• Develop and update brand collateral, materials, and messaging  
• Utilize graphic design software to develop new or update existing collateral 
• Work with printing companies to print collateral as needed 
• *There may be other key activities that arise as marketing development progresses 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communication, or five years of equivalent experience 
• 3 years of experience as a marketing specialist or similar role 
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing 
• Experience in copy writing and/or marketing creative development 
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and tailor copy to suit the needs of the company 
• An in-depth knowledge of B2B marketing 
• Organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines 
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
