PositionOverview : We are seeking a dynamic Department Manager tolead our Water / Wastewater Engineering Resource Group in the BuffaloNY area.

This pivotal leadership role involves coordinating projectwork with our water / wastewater leaders and technical team ensuringalignment between management objectives and project efforts.

TheDepartment Manager will be responsible for scheduling project teamsmanaging group utilization providing technical training andmentoring team members.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Serveas a trusted advisor to our water and wastewater clientscontributing to business development and securing newprojects.
• Diagnose analyze andimplement process improvements for water and wastewatertreatment.
• Optimize treatment plantoperations including pre treatment filtration chemical disinfectionand energy systems.
• Conduct assetevaluations and longterm capitalplanning.
• Perform hydraulic modelingof treatment processes and storagesystems.
• Provide critical water andwastewater expertise to utility staff asneeded.

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Chemical Environmental Engineering or a relatedfield.
• Professional Engineer (PE)license required.
• 10 years ofexperience in water and / or wastewaterengineering.
• Proficient in MSOffice.
• Valid driver s license andwillingness to travel to job sites and client meetings includingoccasional overnight travel.
• Strongleadership management and mentoringskills.
• Ability to workindependently with minimalsupervision.
