Responsibilities
- Supervise a warehouse team of approximately 5 -10 people to hold accountable for following inventory goals
- Schedule and manage shifts on a weekly basis to ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Keeping Track of metrics and performance goals to identify trends and anticipate issues
- Evaluate and improve processes to ensure the proper handling of the product as well as accuracy and efficiency of receiving and putting away orders
- Manage relationships with transportation service providers, manufacturers, suppliers, internal departments and customers
- Manage warehouse supplies to ensure all pallets, boxes, and other various supplies are ordered and stocked
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or an equivalent amount of experience
- Minimum 3 years warehouse Supervisory experience
- Self-directed, flexible, entrepreneurial and resourceful
- Experience managing daily workforce and hourly production team members by setting and enforcing policies with disciplinary actions when needed
- Knowledge of compliance issues (Legal, HR, OSHA, Safety etc.)
- Experience in Excel, Gsuite and Netsuite preferred
- Strong math skills that enable you to create and track metrics to understand what meaningful metrics say about performance
- Strong interpersonal skills; above average oral and written communication skills
- Manage time effectively with limited supervision, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift 50 lbs
- Full Time: Sunday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Salaried / Exempt (Not eligible for overtime)
- Reports to: General Manager
- Location: Whitestown, IN
- Internal position: Not remote or telecommute
