Sales Associate/Support Staff
Part Time: Hours Varied
Essential Functions of this Position
- Consistently operates a cash register with zero to minimal errors to include cash and credit card transactions
- Ensures all product is stocked on sales floor and replenishes shelf stock when necessary
- Keeps store clean and organized during shift
- Can consistently arrive on time for scheduled shift and maintains zero to minimal absences
- Maintains a high level of motivation during shift to ensure all tasks and duties are completed
- Enjoys conversing with customers on a regular basis
Successful Candidates will have the following characteristics:
- Experience working in customer service and/or retail industry preferred.
- Experience working with beer, liquor and/or wine preferred but not required
- Experience selling in a retail environment preferred.
- Has a reputation for giving great service to guests and co-workers.
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time
- Has good problem-solving skills
- Has strong interpersonal skills
- Is able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Communicate professionally in person and on the phone
- Can maintain high energy during the entire shift
