Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Post Closing Specialist to join the Correspondent Operations team at Deephaven Mortgage. The Post Closing Specialist will participate in the loan delivery process providing a heightened focus on coverage and assistance to optimize processes and increase efficiencies while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of assets being delivered. You will be responsible for managing loans through the loan servicing onboarding process and trailing document follow up. The individual will be expected to provide superior client service to achieve financial objectives. These functions include sending original Note to our custodian, along with sending proper trailing documents (final title policy and Recorded Mortgages) to our investors.This is NOT a remote opportunity and the ideal candidate will need to be able to work in our office located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte. What You'll Do: Assist post-closing activities including servicing collateral management, servicing on-boarding and final document tracking Any and all other duties as requested by management Receive, log, scan image and ship loan collateral Request final documents from settlement agent and sellers Receive, log scan and ship final documents to assigned investor Update reports daily to reflect most up to date data Review reports daily and follow up on outstanding documents Maintain organization of post-closing document room Manage daily packages/mail delivered to post closing Prepare weekly shipments to investors Mange post-closing email box This role is NOT REMOTE, and you must live in the Charlotte area to work in office What We Need Associate degree or 1-3 years of experience in mortgage related industry Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure with professionalism. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel You Are Someone Who Possesses a strong attention to detail. Is able to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs.
