Job Title: Principal ML Scientist

We are seeking a skilled ML Scientist with experience in LLMs to join our team to train & refine advanced models on scientific texts. Working with experts in biology, bioinformatics to help transform scientific research. The perfect candidate has a background in machine learning with experience in large-scale generative models, complex data processing, and comprehensive benchmarks, along with strong software engineering skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, training, and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), including adapting an LLM for specific domain use
• Using NLP tools to address real-world problems involving sequential decision-making.
• Implementing rigorous testing, documentation, and model benchmarking

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in developing deep learning and/or NLP models.
• Contributions to research conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, ICLR).
• Expertise in at least one ML framework (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax) and extensive experience in the Python data science ecosystem.
• Experience in training and deploying ML models on distributed computing services (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, or clusters)

Bonus:

• Experience with knowledge graphs, prompting techniques (e.g., Chain-of-Thought), RAG, and/or autonomous agents
