Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Program Manager to join our team. This position requires one day a week on site in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides advanced support for program/project management, including:

  • Maintaining complex project timelines,

  • Tracking deliverables,

  • Gathering data and updating project/program financial status reports,

  • Update of project management models and forecasts,

  • Coordinating project/program management meetings, and

  • Preparation of briefings and presentations.

• Gathers pre-implementation and post-implementation facts (from the customer) to contribute to the documentation of ROI and other Business Case components for the Past Performance write-up

• Documents Past Performance write-ups.

• Identifies opportunities for organic growth

• Supporting requirement identification sessions with the customer 

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant Project Management experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering

• CAPM certification

• Experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.)

• Experience preparing and presenting project status and health updates to customers and corporate leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies

• Experience working in an Agile team

• Experience supporting projects focused on providing solutions in the following areas: Asset Management (inclusive of real property and personal property), Logistics, and/or Human Capital Management

Security Clearance Requirements:

• US citizenship with the ability to obtain up to a secret level clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
