Default Board is Hiring a Coordinator of High School Review, Eligibility Center Near Indianapolis, IN

This position is responsible for processing core-course submissions and reviewing homeschool core course documentation according to NCAA legislation, criteria for review and internal procedures. The position also supports the maintenance of high school and district NCAA accounts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process core-course submissions and homeschool case reviews according to NCAA legislation and criteria for review as established by the NCAA High School Review Committee.
  • Review and analyze documentation (i.e., curricula, assessments, etc.) submitted by high school, district, and homeschool administrators, and conduct research in support of the review.
  • Maintain and update high school and district NCAA accounts according to internal operating procedures.
  • Contribute to proactive team initiatives aligned to Eligibility Center mission and vision.
  • Process accurate and timely reviews in accordance with written internal operating procedures and service-level agreements.
  • Provide clear and concise written communication to high school contacts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience required in secondary education with special emphasis on teaching, curriculum development/design and/or related experiences specific to the industry and role.
  • Knowledge of secondary-education practices and trends. 
  • Working knowledge of NCAA initial-eligibility rules and legislation.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Estimated Travel Required <10%.
  • This position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Current work environment is hybrid; 3 days in the office and 2 days are remote.
