Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid NP license
• Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of experience including experience in women’s health and hormone replacement therapy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive and driven attitude with the ability to work as a team
• A quick learner with problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• This position will have some entrepreneurial elements to it.

Key Responsibilities will Include:

• Assess patients and determine treatment plans through coordinating with other providers (Physical Therapist & Mental Health Counselor), administer treatments, and monitor ongoing progress of patients.
• Evaluate lab values and create treatment plans to optimize hormonal wellness
• Provide and recommend nutritional guidance specific to postpartum and menopausal women
• Help create protocols
• Responsible for taking patient notes and thoroughly charting on each patient
• Maintain sterile and tidy environment
• All prescriptions are called in in a timely manner
• Arrive to work early to prepare for your day
• Responsible for staying on time with each patient and knowing your schedule

ABOUT:

Dela is a new women’s health clinic that focuses on the support and recovery for postpartum and menopausal women through regulating hormones, mental health support, pelvic floor physical therapy, and nutrition counseling. “Dela” in Portuguese means “her”, and this is a place for “her” to receive the support and healing she needs.

We noticed there is not a “one-stop shop” for postpartum and menopause age women that currently exists where they can get the help and treatment they need, so Dela was formed. This is a new venture, and you will be instrumental in laying the ground work, establishing culture, creating protocols and treatments, etc. We plan to have an N.P., a Physical Therapist, and potentially a mental health counselor all under the same roof with their own offices, sharing the same clients based on the patient’s needs. This will become the premiere location for women to obtain all the help they need throughout postpartum and menopause.
