DELAMAR-Luxury Boutique Hotel in Greenwich, CT, is looking for a Front Desk Agent responsible for providing exceptional customer service. The front desk agent is accountable for processing check-ins/outs and assisting guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner while following the highest standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for processing check-ins and check-outs
  • Creates reservations and processes special requests.
  • Assists guests by knowing hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
  • Works as a team player in meeting guests' needs
  • Provides gracious and efficient telephone services
  • Responds to incoming calls and emails promptly and knowledgeably, ensuring accurate information
  • Completes all items on the checklist
  • Communicates the services and amenities of the hotel to guests
  • Prepares room keys for incoming guests
  • Accepts and provides wake-up calls for guests
  • Collaborates effectively with other service departments to effectively manage guest services
  • Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems
  • Processes customer credit at check-in/out in accordance with hotel policy

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Must be fluent in English and have a good phone voice
  • Willing to go the extra step to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge of Opera is strongly preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience required
