Position Summary

Delaware County Community College (DCCC), and PA CareerLink® is looking for a talented and dynamic Data Entry Coordinator to join our team of diverse higher education professionals.
The Data Entry Coordinator at PA CareerLink® plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data entered into the Commonwealth Workforce Development System. This position involves responsibility for managing data entry processes, maintaining data quality standards, and supporting staff in accessing and utilizing data effectively.
This is a grant funded position and continuation of this assignment, compensation, and benefits are subject to grant terms and availability of funds.
The Data Entry Coordinator at PA CareerLink® has internal contacts college-wide and external contact with visitors, and the general community. This position has access to sensitive personal and financial information and is expected to handle such information confidentially and with integrity and professionalism. This position is expected to represent Delaware County Community College in a professional manner and promote a customer service approach. The Data Entry Coordinator at PA CareerLink® reports to the PA CareerLink® WIOA Program Manager and participates in Center and college-wide events, meetings, and activities, as necessary

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate data entry activities for PA CareerLink® programs and services, including participant information, employer data, and programmatic information.
  • Enter and maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the organization’s database systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with data quality standards.
  • Develop and implement data entry procedures, guidelines, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Train staff on data entry processes and procedures, including proper documentation and quality control measures.
  • Perform regular data audits and quality checks to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
  • Generate reports and analysis from database systems to support program evaluation, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure data exchange and integration between different systems and platforms.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff regarding data entry issues or system functionality.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in data entry technology, tools, and techniques, and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
  • Participate in interactive, on-site meetings during normal business hours and on a regular basis; regular on-site PA CareerLink® office hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must be an engaging, effective, innovative, dynamic professional who fosters collaboration. This individual will be able to demonstrate the use of best practice strategies associated with Database Management and integrity standards as it pertains to CWDS. This individual will demonstrate a spirit of an independent problem-solver and a strong understanding of PA CareerLink® mission and goals. The Coordinator will demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with data as well as a wide cross section of the College community and outside stakeholders. The Coordinator will also have a demonstrated ability to encourage, model, embrace, and incorporate diverse thought and perspective of all individuals of various backgrounds, ideas, and perspectives to foster an all-inclusive environment and drive retention and completion results

Experience & Education

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 years of related experience in data entry, database management, or a related field in a professional setting; prior experience working in a career center, school or community college environment is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and related experience is required. Associate degree preferred.
