Job Description
- Responsible for the overall health of MIS systems including servers, network equipment, operating systems, storage, data integrity, virtual infrastructure, and security.
- Responsible for training and assisting all other Systems personnel.
- Responsible for all of the systems-related tasks, including scheduling and assignments.
- Responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of all MIS computer systems.
- Researches problems or errors within the MIS infrastructure and recommends a proper course of action for recovery or repair.
- Required to document all facets of the MIS Systems operations.
- Responsible for the integrity of all server backup and restoration operations.
- Develops and implements standards for workstation operating system installations.
- Responsible for maintaining network/system monitoring software.
- Performs systems diagnostics on a routine basis to identify potential deficiencies within the MIS Systems.
- Propose and implement capital projects to improve the IT operation.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Minimum seven (7) years in MIS and Computer Industry.
- Experience managing Microsoft Windows Systems, UNIX, Linux, and midrange operating environments.
- Strong experience with WAN and LAN equipment and software
- Experience with storage systems (local and cloud)
- Strong experience with Virtual Environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of business including weekends and holidays.
