Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications in adherence to established protocols and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to maintain accurate patient records and document procedures effectively.
- Help lead the management of pharmacy inventory, including medications, supplies, and equipment.
- Help conduct routine inventory audits, proactively reorder supplies, and maintain precise documentation of stock levels.
- Help contribute to the development and implementation of efficient inventory control strategies to optimize stock turnover.
- Promote the company’s services to potential patients and clients.
- Analyze data on patient needs and purchasing patterns to refine marketing strategies and identify more potential markets.
- Preparing marketing plans and strategies for company meetings.
- Writing reports about market conditions, trends, and potential changes in patient preferences.
- Producing and distributing brochures, flyers, pamphlets, and banners for company events and promotions.
- Communicating with extant and budding clients to maintain these working relationships.
- Creating promotional materials such as banners and informative cards for dissemination by clients.
- Analyzing competitors' performance to safeguard and further promote our position in the market.
- Conducting regular self-evaluations to ensure meeting sales targets.
- Attending training workshops and congresses to remain up to date with standards and developments in the industry.
- Assist with deliveries as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
- A valid driver's license for performing deliveries as needed.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management practices and techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and medication compounding.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and patients.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high standard of patient care.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems (PioneerRx, MatchRx, etc.) and inventory management software is preferred.
- A current and valid immunization certification is needed.
