Quantitative Researcher- Equities

We are currently searching for a quantitative researcher with a focus on equities for a hedge fund client. They are ideally looking for rising star sub-pm/researchers who can contribute signals in the short/mid term or senior researchers who have a track record within the space that compliments their existing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and evaluate alpha research strategies
• Continuously work to build uncorrelated alpha signals
• Enhance overall performance through portfolio optimization process
• Research focused on transaction cost modelling to ensure optimal execution of trades

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of equities
• Experience utilizing statistical modeling techniques to develop quantitative trading models
• Strong interest in the derivatives markets
• Degree(s) in statistics, mathematics, computer science or other technical disciplines
