Position Summary

Operates radiographic equipment to obtain optimum radiographs of designated portions of the body to aid in diagnosis or progress of disease. Ensures all mammography procedures performed meet the guidelines of the ACR and MQSA. Performs Quality Control tests, Documents results in compliance with all regulatory agencies. Rotation and fill-in required, to accommodate the staffing of the Outpatient Center.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology, Associate's Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE: 2 Years previous experience in mammography and assisting with invasive breast procedures (localizations and biopsies) is preferred

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: ARRT registered; mammography certification. Florida license American Heart Association BLS certification
