Small Hotel Bar, 1 person operation includes bartending, cleaning, and food prep of light fare food for hotel guest. We are looking for friendly, reliable team members to give our guest the best customer service. Micros experience a plus. TIPS training required. Will need to get Serve Safe Certificate after hire.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender/ Light Fare Food Prep to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in the food industry and possess excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve beverages to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar and in the customer service area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate

-Prepare/ Serve light fare food (salads, wraps, flatbreads etc.) for Hotel Guest.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure customer satisfaction

Experience:

- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons
- Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing
- Sales skills to promote specials and increase revenue
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Experience in catering or food service is a plus
