Position Description :

Delta College of Arts and Technology is seeking a motivated and highly student-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Medical Office & Billing Instructor for our Lafayette Campus.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Learning and adapting the course curriculum,
• Setting out lesson plans,
• Mentoring students and providing additional support when needed,
• Overseeing examinations and final practical tests,
• Providing course feedback to the Director,
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date classroom records.

Qualifications :

• At least 4 years of experience in a Medical Office setting performing Medical Billing & Coding duties.
• Diploma or AOS in Medical Billing & Coding, or comparable education.
• Certification is preferred, but not required.

All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
