Essential Job Functions:
- Regularly inspects and maintains Heavy Equipment to include but not limited to; Excavators, Front end loaders, Backhoes, Skid steers, Telehandlers, and Man lifts, to ensure all are in working and safe condition
- Regularly inspects and maintains Fleet vehicles to include, but not limited to; 1 Ton, ¾ ton and ½ Ton pickups, Vans and SUVs with both gas and diesel engines
- Regularly inspects and maintains Heavy Fleet vehicles to include but not limited to; Semi-tractors, Dump trucks, Bucket trucks, and Boom trucks
- Manages parts inventory to ensure an adequate supply of replacement and preventative maintenance parts and fluids
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma, or Equivalent
- Two (2) years' experience with light duty vehicels
- Three (3) years' experience with heavy equipment in the oilfield, preferred
- Current and valid driver license with a clean driving record
- OSHA 10 certificate or ability to obtain upon hire
- H2S certificate or ability to obtain upon hire
- Attends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department
- Knowledge of mechanical and maintenance processes and procedures
- Knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
- Ability to implement mechanical knowledge and skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to dangerous situations or emergencies
- Ability to diagnose system malfunctions, locate cause of breakdown and correct the problem or recommend solution
- Ability to set and balance priorities in order to complete projects on time
- Ability to make decisions and recommend appropriate course of action in difficult situations
- Ability to communicate effectively as a supervisor both verbal and written
- Ability to handle stress and possess positive trait even in difficult or challenging situations
- General knowledge of dianostic computer software and basic computer skills for the purpose of maintenance data entry

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Visual Acuity: must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and may require use of ear plugs on occasion. Work condition is outside environment (job site/field site) that may have inclement weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles and equipment.
