Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Job Control/Video Display Manager to join our team at Barksdale AFB, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing work tickets and overseeing the SMAC Video Display System (VDS). 

This position is anticipated to start September 12th, 2024. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Review and monitor the SMAC ticket tracker from customers, assigning tickets to CSTs or JMPS technicians. 
• Collect information from customers via phone, email, or in-person, and input it into the ticket system. 
• Ensure work priorities align with mission objectives and availability. 
• Confirm that issues are fully resolved and that technicians document the fix actions using the SMAC Ticket Tracker. 
• Report ticket numbers to the government and highlight any areas of future concern on a weekly schedule. 
• Configure the existing system to provide display functionality for the allocated number of users based on system capability. 
• Provide guidance and input for system upgrades to enhance future capabilities. 
• Test and evaluate current and proposed equipment and software enhancements, advising management on acquisition proposals to improve mission accomplishment through automation. 
• Offer SME support and training for SMAC VDS operational procedures to government and contract customers. 
• Update and maintain system drawings, ensuring VDS layout drawings are incorporated into each location’s TEMPEST drawing for all SMAC locations. 
• Research, recommend, obtain, install, and maintain hardware and software as specified by the Government, providing price quotes and timeframes to government representatives. 
• Collaborate with management to isolate and correct complex problems hindering the organization’s ability to fully utilize the SMAC VDS. 
• Provide proactive consultation and instruction to system users to ensure seamless implementation of changes. 
• Work with Joint Interference Control Officers (JICO) to develop plans and tests for datalink communications, including SATCOM BLOS capabilities and Radio Frequencies Operations. 

• Proven experience in managing work tickets and supporting video display systems. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a military or government environment. 
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing hardware and software related to video display systems. 
• Strong knowledge of network systems and video display system configurations. 
• Experience with developing and implementing standard procedures for system maintenance and updates. 
• DoD 8570 certification: IAT Level II minimum 
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with Government and customer personnel. 
• Strong organizational skills to manage work tickets and maintain system documentation. 
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical issues efficiently. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Ability to provide training and support to users. 
• TS/SCI Security Clearance
