The Service Coordinator is a permanent, full-time, challenging and rewarding position offering the opportunity to be part of an exciting, highly successful, growth-oriented organization in our Sykesville, Maryland office. Delval is the premier capital equipment provider and service organization for boilers, burners, combustion control & associated equipment in the Baltimore/Washington/Philadelphia corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, motivated, organized and detail-oriented person with good people and communication skills for important role in our expanding service department.
Work with service manager for planning of schedule, communicating with technicians, customers, and our sales staff with goal of improving the overall efficiency, productivity, and operation of our service department. This person will assist service manager with variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Contacting customers to confirm scheduled jobs and for follow-ups after service, field customer phone calls.
- Take calls from techs and assist with scheduling/dispatching.
- Oversee maintenance of vehicles, tools and equipment.
- Review job documentation from salesman to ensure its completeness
- Pursuing purchase orders from customers as needed
- Processing technician service tickets for billing and payroll
- Place orders with vendors for warehouse stock
- use company approved processes and systems
- Receive incoming items, put away or reship items as needed
- Receive items into our software system
- Process vendor invoices into our software system
- Organizing job billing and preparing billing for managers review
- Use online systems for scheduling, entry of technician hours, billing, dispatch, etc.
- Convert quotes from the aftermarket sales team to orders via our online system
- As needed, pick up/deliver parts, assist service technicians.
Prior experience helpful, but recent college grads encouraged to apply.
