Job Summary:

The Digital Media Associate assist the Deputy Director - Digital on the execution of DAGA's digital strategy and processes, for DAGA's social media program.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervises the Digital Intern.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist the Deputy Director - Digital in the execution of DAGA digital media program, including drafting, editing and posting digital and social media content.
• Help create content for DAGA's social media accounts.
• Execute technical aspects of the digital media program, including managing back-end processes on DAGA's website, social media properties, and digital fundraising properties.
• Work with the Deputy Director - Digital to produce a monthly social media report to summarize the use and effectiveness of social content, monitor growth, record engagement rates, and analyze other metrics. Identify issues when they arise and adjust strategy accordingly.

Education and Experience:

• Some experience working in digital media a plus.
• A working knowledge of public policy, federal and state government, and the judicial system.

Closing:

• DAGA's office offers a hybrid work schedule with operating hours between 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern, but extended and nontraditional work hours are required.
• This position is located in the DAGA offices which are in downtown Washington DC.
