Team Biden-Harris is seeking a talented and creative Digital Rapid Response Manager to join our growing digital rapid response team at Biden-Harris HQ in Wilmington, Delaware.The Digital Rapid Response Manager will assist the Digital Rapid Response Director in managing a team of creative professionals developing content on various social media platforms for Biden-Harris campaign properties (like @BidenHQ). You’re a good fit for this role if you’re politically savvy, adept at following the news, quick on your feet, experienced at managing and delegating for projects, and have a strong understanding of what types of content perform well on each social media platform. Responsibilities:
Work alongside and help project plan for a team of rapid response video editors, platforms strategists, and graphic designers
Help ideate creative projects in line with our profile voice(s) and formats
Follow the news and be able to identify good clips and content opportunities and execute on them
Analyze social media content performance and help adapt strategy accordingly
Other duties as assigned to support Team Biden-Harris’ mission
Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience working in politics
Experience creating social media content (ideally with a portfolio or examples!)
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; you should have an eagle-eye for typos and errors
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Incredibly organized; able to prioritize multiple projects moving at different speeds in a deadline-driven environment. You have a keen sense of what preparations might be required for any situation and are proactive about making them happen
Willing and able to relocate to Wilmington, Delaware
The starting salary for the Digital Rapid Response Manager position is $75,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends and has an end date of November 15, 2024. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
