DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Regulatory Compliance Manager, the regulatory intern will have responsibilities that will report to the Regulatory department. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with Operations, Quality, and the R&D department.
This position will entail ensuring the systems and procedures are managed by updating, entering, revising, and documenting information from: internal sources, suppliers, and customer requests. Additionally, this role will support the regulatory compliance specialist and the other document technician(s) with his/her duties.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Portals
- Upload documents into customer portals.
- Fulfill document requests to customers.
- Systems
- Manage and maintain data within Tropos, Product Vision
- Manage and maintain Digital Kosher
- New item initiation, reactivations, deactivations
- Assist/carry out pending deactivations.
- Product Revisions
- Initiate customer notification process
- Collect and tag supplier documents (high and medium risk materials)
- Collaboration with other departments
- Communicate in a professional manner with customers, sales, and internal personnel.
- Be detail oriented, possess good time management and organizational skills.
- Other duties as required
Education And/or Experience
- Preferred Associate’s degree in food science, science or other related curriculum. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- A minimum of one year of related experience in the food science and or systems is required.
- To perform this job successfully strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work related documents, technical procedures, etc
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers, vendors, customers, and other employees of the organization.
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
