Denali Staffing Group is Hiring a Controller Near Anchorage, AK
Job SummaryUnder direction of the Chief Fiscal Officer. Prepare, review, and approve annual financial reports. Coordinate annual independent financial audits and prepare responses to audit findings. Identify, recommend, and develop data processing system changes/enhancements for the Financial Information System. Attend management meetings; respond to constituent and municipal department inquiries. Complete special projects and prepare reports as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / PreferencesAssociate's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar discipline and ten (10) years of professional accounting experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar discipline and eight (8) years of professional accounting experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
OR
Master's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar discipline and six (6) years of professional accounting experience, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
