Responsibilities:
* Familiar with display technologies such as phage and/or yeast display.
* Responsible for molecular biology efforts, including cloning and sequence analysis
* Familiar with protein engineering methods such as error prone PCR, saturated mutagenesis, DNA shuffling, etc.
* Supports analysis of protein-protein interactions using appropriate methods (ie, SPR, BLI, ELISA) to achieve engineering and discovery program goals.
* Executes aspects of the antibody discovery process, which may include in vitro screens, sequence analysis, and purification of immune phage-derived sequences.
* Familiarity with tissue culture methods, transfections, and recombinant protein purification.
* With support, evaluates new technologies aimed at expanding Antibody Discovery & Protein Engineering capabilities
* Establishes expertise on critical instrumentation, coordinating support and service to maintain critical operations.
* Performs data analyses and maintains compliance with good record keeping (ELN)
* Supports project, platform and pathway teams by contributing data that achieves team goals.
* Ability to synthesize data and communicate results within Antibody Discovery & Protein Engineering.
Requirements:
* BS with at least 2 years of industry experience, or MS with 0 years industry experience in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Antibody Engineering, or related field
* Experience with phage display and or yeast display
* Experience with biochemistry techniques including protein quantitation, protein purification, and/or biophysical/biochemical assays
* Expertise with standard text, graphic, and presentation software is required, and familiarity with database/data archival software systems is helpful
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, excited to work in a highly collaborative environment.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
