Responsibilities and Essential Duties Maintenance
- Perform all pre- and post-inspections on truck and trailer combinations or trucks with a capacity of at least 26,001 lbs.
- Report all defects, accidents, traffic violations, and damage to the vehicles.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as adding oil, fuel, and radiator fluid or performing minor repairs.
CDL-A Truck Driver Job Requirements :
- Valid Class CDL A or B in state of residence with Tanker & Roll Off experience.
- Age 21 and over.
- 1-year tractor-trailer experience
- Must have a current DOT medical card.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must have Clean MVR.
- Must pass the road test.
- Live in a defined hiring area and willing to park at the approved parking area.
- No DUI or DWI conviction in a commercial motor vehicle or personal vehicle in the last three (3) years.
- No DOT Drug Alcohol Violation within the past 3 years.
- Obtain receipts or signatures when loads are delivered.
Safety
- Perform and acknowledge all safety regulations as determined by FMCSA, OSHA, and the Company when completing all tasks related to operations.
- Pre-trip and post-trip required before and after driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Complete DVIR report daily (also tasked under maintenance)
Complete monthly safety quizzes and training
