Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing our clients in legal disputes, ensuring their rights are protected and advocating on their behalf. You will handle a wide range of litigation matters, including but not limited to civil litigation, commercial disputes, and employment disputes. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in the courtroom.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in civil litigation, including trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.

- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.

- Interview clients, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather evidence and information.

- Attend depositions, negotiate settlements, and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.

- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation-related matters.

- Maintain accurate and organized case files, documentation, and records.

- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends impacting litigation practice areas.

- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

- Active license to practice law in California.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney, preferably in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.

- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and courtroom protocols.

- Proven ability to handle a diverse caseload and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work product.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

- Proficient in legal research tools and technology.
