Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our Dental Associates of New England. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring a smooth and efficient front office operation. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of Dentrix software.
Mon-Thur 8-5:30 and Fri 8-4
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Process patient information using Dentrix software.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment plans and ensure proper coding for insurance purposes. Calculuate copayments based on insurance plans
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.
- Sending claims to insurance
- Collaborate with dental staff to enhance patient experience and streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Must have 2 years of previous Dental Office experience
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail in clerical tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
