CAD Department Manager

Location: PA

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year(depending on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CAD Department Manager to lead our CAD team in designing and creating dental prosthetics. The CAD Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing all CAD operations, managing a team of 6 designers and 3 scanners, ensuring the quality and accuracy of CAD designs, and optimizing workflow processes to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of CAD designers and scanners, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D and production, to ensure seamless integration of CAD designs and workflows.

- In depth knowledge of implants and components

- Oversee the development and implementation of CAD design standards and best practices.

- Monitor and review CAD designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications.

- Coordinate with external vendors for CAD outsourcing needs.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in CAD design and management, preferably in a dental laboratory setting.

- Proficiency in CAD software, such as 3Shape or Exocad.

- Complex design capabilities. Single unit restorations through full arch crown and bridge and AoX.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
