Dental Career Services is Hiring a Licensed Surgical Dental Assistant Near Saint Paul, MN

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Dental Assistant with surgical experience to join their dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting with dental surgeries, providing high-quality patient care, and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including surgical procedures such as extractions, implants, bone grafts, ect.
  • Assist with all prosthodontic and fixed restorative procedures, including fabricating temps, impressions, adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Take dental radiographs, digital impressions and intra-oral photos.
  • Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage patient flow.
  • Provide postoperative instructions and care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure as a Dental Assistant.
  • Certification in dental radiography.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with a focus on surgical procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
