Dental Solutions Blackwood is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Blackwood, NJ

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Enter patient information into electronic health record system (Epic)
- Assist with medical documentation and coding
- Manage and maintain dental records

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working in a pediatric dental setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Epic)
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices
- Familiarity with computer-assisted design (CAD) software for creating dental prosthetics is a plus
