Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to our patients and work collaboratively with our team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures including but not limited to: fillings, extractions, dental implants, crowns, removable dentures, and root canals
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental office team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
Skills:
- Proficiency in Open Dental or similar dental software for patient management
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures
- Ability to interpret medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards
