Role and Responsibilities

• Manage monthly billing process (customer payment allocation, discount, refund, orders application in DM systems and tools) for North America
• Responsible for invoicing (creation of invoices in the system, monitoring of contractual clauses and payments)
• Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
• Customer payment collection and follow-up.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience and Sales teams to ensure all data is up to date
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, working closely with internal departments and external clients to reach satisfactory resolutions
• Transverse projects linked to system integration and/or migration, cleaning databases, documentation
• Ensure compliance with international invoicing regulations, tax laws, and customs requirements 

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficient in using billing software and financial systems (NetSuite, Salesforce) and Excel Knowledge 
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of billing transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Experience in a startup or scaleup environment
• Experience in driving process improvement
