Denton County Texas is Hiring a GIS Technician - Temp Near Denton, TX

DescriptionTHIS POSTING MAY CLOSE AT ANY TIME ONCE A SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.Under the direction of the Denton County GIS Manager, the GIS Technician assists with Denton County GIS projects by creating, updating, and maintaining point, line, and polygon data. The GIS Technician must work collaboratively as a team member assisting with general GIS services and managing tasks effectively.
Minimum QualificationsRequires proficiency with Esri's ArcGIS suite of software to edit and create GIS data, including ArcGIS Pro.
The candidate must have experience communicating cartographic information through writing or map exhibits.
Must not have any Class B misdemeanor or higher convictions or deferred adjudications.
Supplemental Information The anticipated work schedule is 15 to 30 hours/week.
Contract Labor positions are staffed through an employment agency.Denton County will provide the name and contact information for the employment agency prior to starting an assignment.
