Salary Range: $73,579 - $88,296 annually

About this job:
Lead / Project Manage operational support for significant facility solutions and major operational change initiatives. Responsibilities include leading implementation of approved school facility change recommendations by partnering with school leaders, central academic leadership, Construction Services staff and all operations departments.

What You'll Do:
  • Assume primary responsibility for project leadership and communication on projects deliverables. This would include development and monitoring of project charters, work plans, work breakdown schedules, project milestone and status reports, resource plans, budgets, etc.
  • This role must develop comprehensive communications strategies to ensure all appropriate team members and stakeholders across the districts are abreast of project issues and status. Provide regular feedback and exchange of information with other project leader(s), department heads, management members, and senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify, track and resolve issues, risks and dependencies associated with projects managed, and communicate risks and issues to project team and senior leadership. Identify and implement issue resolutions. Lead risk management identification and mitigation plans.
  • Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
  • Monitor multi mullion dollar operational budgets.
  • Middle level management. Works under general direction of Director, Operations Support Services under the Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for the management of 3 or more medium to large-sized, moderately to highly complex projects.

What You’ll Need:

  • Three (3) years direct project management experience in planning, estimating/budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, expectation management, scope and issue management with complex projects. Experience in education a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • In place of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
