Job Duties
SWVMHI in Marion, VA is recruiting for Wage / Part-Time CNAs to join its talented and dedicated Nursing Services Team.
Position Hours : Variable (4 Hr. Shifts, 8 Hr. Shifts, or 12 Hr. Shifts Available for Preference)
Shift Differentials and Weekend / Holiday Supplements Available
and Extended Rehabilitation Service Units
Observing and reporting feedback regarding interventions, treatments, behaviors, physical
condition, emotional well-being, and other situations
The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities and or Competencies required to successfully perform the work :
Maintain CNA (Certified Nursing Aide) certification in good standing with the VA State Board of
Nursing
Knowledge of basic treatment measures to promote mental health appropriate to the adult,
developmentally disabled or impaired, and / or geriatric populations
acute symptoms of mental illness and / or additional forensic / legal involvement

Additional Considerations
Experience in a psychiatric, healthcare facility, acute care, long-term care or correctional
setting is preferred

These positions are hourly / wage and not eligible for benefits. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than 29 hours a week and are limited to working 1500 hours in a year.
